Alex Derr joined VNL in 2018 and leads our communications and marketing efforts and content development work. Alex creates blogs, infographics, reports, briefs, and other content while managing our web and social media presence. He crafts our email marketing campaigns and runs our monthly webinar program, tracks marketing data and analytics, and conducts market research to inform our strategy. He supports our entire team with copywriting, graphic design, and audience research, and online events. Alex graduated from CU-Denver’s School of Public Affairs in 2020 with a Master’s in Public Administration, with a concentration in Environmental Management, Policy, and Law. Alex enjoys climbing 14ers (29 done, 29 to go!), visiting Breweries (My favorite is Ratio), writing articles on his blog, The Next Summit, and spending time with his boyfriend Jake.
