Administrative Manager

VNL is hiring an Administrative Manager to support our work in a variety of areas. The principal duties include:

  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks including managing the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, composing and preparing confidential correspondence, arranging meeting agendas, and monitoring and occasionally responding to emails.
  • Helps set priorities, manage incoming requests, and track deliverables on behalf of the CEO and the team.
  • Develops documents, presentations, memos, and other documents including managing confidential and time-sensitive matters with utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Provides excellent internal and external customer service, behaving in a manner that cultivates trust, respect, and teamwork.
  • Exercises independent judgment in relieving executive of administrative details and provides a wide variety of general administrative duties in support of the leadership team and overall organization.
  • Across the organization, provides logistical support for various meetings, performs set-up duties for meetings, takes and disseminates meeting minutes, sends agendas, and other materials as requested.

Parent Engagement and Outreach Program Manager

Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center - Denver, CO

This Parent Engagement and Outreach Program Manager position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Parent Engagement and Outreach within the School Wellness Program (SWP).  It will be responsible for, but not limited to, direct supervision of staff, provide direct services to program partners, Quality improvement, adhere to program deadlines, development and training of staff, assist with grant writing and progress reports, oversight of expenses for these program lines, along with knowledge of overall program, Center, and University processes and guidelines.  This position will be located in the Denver area and will collaborate with the Program Director and Principal Investigators (PI) on all evaluation and management aspects of the program.  The job will require occasional travel to satellite offices.

Health Promotion Facilitator

This position will work in the Denver metro area and will facilitate and implement for the RMPRC School Wellness Program.  This position will work under the supervision of a Program Manager and the guidance of the program staff to ensure the program is following policies and procedures are required by the University.

Center Manager

Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center - Denver, CO

The Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center is (RMPRC) a school-wide center within the Colorado School of Public Health. Since 1998, the RMPRC has focused on advancing healthy lifestyles and preventing chronic disease among residents and communities in the Rocky Mountain region by conducting, disseminating, and serving as a resource for community-based research and policy. The Vision of the RMPRC is that children and families across the Rocky Mountain region live in communities where health equity is achieved by optimizing social-emotional, mental, and physical health. There are three office locations (Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Alamosa) with a total of 30-45 employees. 

The Center Manager is an integral member of the RMPRC team. This position will work closely with the Center’s leadership in the development of center infrastructure, with oversight of certain Center Operations, and will develop and manage Center and project-level budgets, as well as provide grant support, including processing of grant applications, progress and final reports, carry over requests and other documentation required by funding agency/organization. This position will coordinate and communication with University, School of Public Health Staff and Central Departments; Human Resources, Office of Grants and Contracts, and Finance and Procurement to ensure policy and procedures are followed.  Additionally, the Center Manager will train and communicate these systems to support the staff and work of the Center. This position will provide process analysis in order to plan for the management of future projects; improve workflow and work efficiencies; and determine changes needed in order to avoid repetition of errors.

Temporary SE Colorado Community Liaison

Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center - Denver, CO
The Rocky Mountain Prevention Research Center (RMPRC) in the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus has an opening for a part-time (10 hrs/week), temporary Community Liaison in Southeastern, Colorado to work on the COVID-19 Supplement Project. The RMPRC is one of 26 PRCs throughout the country that is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  Our mission is to advance healthy lifestyles and prevent chronic disease among residents and communities in the Rocky Mountain region by conducting, disseminating, and serving as a resource for community-based prevention research and policy. The Community Liaison for the COVID-19 Supplement Project will work from Southeastern Colorado and will collaborate with the research team on all aspects related to the Southeastern Colorado community initiatives. The Community Liaison will meet regularly with the Do-Project Investigators and other research team members to implement the project. Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Help create and oversee a Community Advisory Council (CAC) by recruiting and networking in local community
  • Leverage and build community relationships to enhance overall health
  • Distribute resources and information in the community regarding COVID-19
  • Support data collection efforts in Southeastern, CO
  • Work with Center leadership to participate in staff meetings, local planning meetings, and, state-level meetings, as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Directors and supervisor.

Campus Engagement Coordinator

The Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center - Sarasota, FL
The Campus Engagement Coordinator (CEC) supports an organizational goal to facilitate collaboration and connection between tenant partner agencies through Campus Connection programming. The Campus Engagement Coordinator will build and maintain positive professional relationships with staff who work on the Campus of Caring, while planning and administering professional development presentations and networking opportunities for those stakeholders. A successful CEC will result in a more connected campus community, fostering a deep sense of campus culture. The CEC reports directly to the Executive Director/CEO and will adhere to policies established by the Board of Directors as well as to the organization’s goals and objectives.
