Subnetwork Scores + Node Resizing in PARTNER CPRM

Exciting Update: Introducing Subnetwork Scores + Node Resizing!

We’re thrilled to announce a powerful new feature in the PARTNER CPRM analyzer: Subnetwork Score + Node Resizing. This enhancement brings your network analysis to the next level, offering deeper insights and greater flexibility when exploring your network maps.

What Is Subnetwork Score + Node Resizing?

Subnetwork Score Node Resizing dynamically recalculates and resizes nodes in real-time based on the subset of the network you’re currently analyzing. When you apply filters to hide or focus on specific nodes or relationships—such as by sector, geographic region, or populations served—and refresh the map, the centrality, trust, value, and other network scores and other metrics are recalculated instantly for only the visible subnetwork. The nodes resize accordingly to reflect their adjusted scores.

Gone are the days of static metrics that fail to adapt to your view! This feature enables a clearer understanding of the structure and key players in any subnetwork, helping you identify hidden opportunities and challenges.

Ideas for Using Subnetwork Scores + Node Resizing

Wondering what this means for you? With this new functionality, you can:

  • Explore Subnetworks with Precision: Drill down into specific portions of your network and get accurate insights without manual recalculation.
  • Quickly Identify Key Players: Instantly see which organizations are most central, trusted, or connected within a specific filtered view.
  • Adapt to Context: Whether analyzing regional partnerships or focusing on certain services, this feature helps you uncover actionable insights tailored to your current focus.

For example, imagine you want to understand which non-profit organizations are most well-connected in a particular geographic region.

By filtering your network map nodes using sectors and census tracts, you can immediately identify the central nodes for that subset, making it easier to plan outreach by finding the right organization based on your needs.

How to Try Subnetwork Score Node Resizing

Subnetwork scores and dynamic node sizing occurs automatically – you do not need to turn on any settings.

1. Open your analyzer and the network mapping tab.

2. In the node settings, size your nodes by centrality, trust, or value.

3. In the node settings, use the filter settings to hide nodes based on attributes to zero in on a subnetwork of interest.

4. Refresh your network map layout to see updated node sizes calculated based on the subnetwork’s connections and survey responses.

5. To save your subnetwork map, you can export a map image (JPG or PNG) or save a visualization to add to dashboards or profiles.
