Unlike traditional hierarchies, networks are fluid and flexible with many different ways to structure your governance. There are no perfect network governance structures.
It’s important to remember that there is no perfect structure. Each network exists within a unique community context that requires special considerations. When trying to decide how to manage a network, think about the history, value, goals, and membership of your network. As networks are fluid, it’s also easy to experiment with different structures over time, taking what works from one model, and dropping what doesn’t, to create a truly customized network governance structure.
