Building New Tools to Measure and Strengthen Youth Support Networks

November 2020 – Ongoing // Baltimore, Maryland and Atlanta, Georgia // PARTNERme Project

The Annie E. Casey Foundation is devoted to developing a brighter future for millions of children at risk of poor educational, economic, social and health outcomes.

Their work focuses on strengthening families, building stronger communities and ensuring access to opportunity, because children need all three to succeed. We advance research and solutions to overcome the barriers to success, help communities demonstrate what works and influence decision makers to invest in strategies based on solid evidence.

Our team at Visible Network Labs is working with the Annie E. Casey Foundation by bringing several youth leaders on to our team. They’ll learn about network science, research methodology and design thinking, and then help us create new measures and tools for youth. They’ll help young people in their communities build stronger, more resilient support networks with friends, family and mentors that help them succeed and their improve health and well-being.
