Vlad is originally from Belarus, and has been living in the United States for over 25 years now. He is a father of 4 children—3 boys and 1 girl. Vlad has been an educator most of his professional life, after obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and his Master of Teaching secondary science education degree from University of South Florida in Tampa. He has taught chemistry, physics, robotics, engineering, and computer science for High Schools in Florida and Denver. Yet, his love for software development grew as he began taking on freelance work for numerous clients to build websites and web apps.

Vlad also enjoys tinkering with hardware including networks, keyboards, embedded circuits like the Raspberry pi, Linux, vim, music, and production. He enjoys learning about new technologies, solving technical problems, and getting his children interested in tech. Vlad loves to snowboard, hike, fish, play drums and guitar, video games, and most importantly drink coffee while squashing bugs—software bugs!
